上堂時剛好講到很多人誤將headquarters寫成headquarter。這字的本身寫法一定要有s，其他類似例子還有Economics，Mathematics，Physics等。有同學即時翻查手提電話內置字典，發現headquarters和headquarter同時存在。其實有些較細的字典，很多時都會以以偏概全。
Cambridge Online Dictionary則沒有收錄這字。大學是訓練求知求真及批判精神的地方，這種態度值得鼓勵。
